Bimetallic (NiFe) and trimetallic (NiFeCr) nanoalloys (NAs) are synthesized using corresponding oxide mixtures using microwave hydrogen plasma within a few milliseconds. The process simultaneously 1) reduces metal oxides to metals; 2) downsizes the particles from micrometers to nanometers; and 3) blends the metals to form NAs.

A variety of porpoises and dolphins of the superfamily Delphinoidea, ranging through three magnitudes of weight from the harbour porpoise Phoconea to the killer whale Orcinus, have now been kept in captivity. From aquarium records of body weights and weights of food ingested, daily food consumption can be determined. Following IVLEV (1961) I shall call

Influence of an Argon/Silane Atmosphere on the Temperature of a Thermal Plasma
The influence of a silane‐doped argon atmosphere on the chemical composition and temperature of a thermal nontransferring argon plasma is investigated using optical emission spectroscopy. As a result of the high amount of free electrons resulting from the stepwise ionization and dissociation of the silane molecule, even a silane addition of 0.01 vol ...

Effect of Periodic Fasting on Growth and Feed Efficiency in Giant Freshwater Prawn (Macrobrachium Rosenbergii, De Man 1879) [PDF]
There are obstacles in the aquaculture business that is still often facedbyfarmers, one of the challengesisthe high price of commercial feed. Feed as an energy source for growth is a reasonably high-cost component in production that reaches 40-89 %.

This work discusses the use of blended channel materials in OECTs. It explores how mixing glycolated and alkoxylated polymers in various ratios offers a simpler and more efficient route to tuning OECT properties. The performance of the polymer blends is compared to the corresponding copolymers, demonstrating similar OECT characteristics, swelling ...

Optimization of puffed corn-fish snack extrusion conditions using response surface methodology [PDF]
To optimize the extrusion conditions of novelty developed puffed corn-fish snack, Response Surface Methodology was performed. Feed rate (810-1206 g/min), temperature (105-125ºC) and screw speed (146- 208 rpm) were considered as 3 independent variables ...

The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Effects of supplementary feeds on growth and survival of freshwater giant prawn (Macrobrachium resenbergii [i.e. rosenbergii] deMan) [PDF]
Highest growth of prawn was obtained with Feed B (743 kg/ha) with highest survival rate (60.88%) followed by Feed A where production and survival rate was 659 kg/ha and 53.50%, respectively.
