Asymptotic quadratic price game mechanism for video stream extensible feedback unloading

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2020
A progressive quadratic price game mechanism with scalable feedback offloading of video streams was proposed.Firstly, the congestion of cellular network could be alleviated by effectively uninstalling some video traffic from all video streaming services ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Analytical Study of Quantum Feedback Enhanced Rabi Oscillations

open access: yes, 2015
We present an analytical solution of the single photon quantum feedback in a cavity quantum electrodynamics system based on a half cavity set-up coupled to a structured continuum.

Stochastic modeling of plant-insect interaction dynamics with MEMS-based monitoring and noise effects

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
The dynamics of plant-insect interactions play a crucial role in the ecosystem, influenced by complex molecular signaling pathways. This study extends existing deterministic models of plant-insect systems by incorporating stochastic elements and ...

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

A Null-model Exhibiting Synchronized Dynamics in Uncoupled Oscillators

open access: yes, 2018
The phenomenon of phase synchronization of oscillatory systems arising out of feedback coupling is ubiquitous across physics and biology. In noisy, complex systems, one generally observes transient epochs of synchronization followed by non-synchronous ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Physics of multi-GEM structures

open access: yes, 2002
We show that physics of multi-GEM structures is rather complex, regarding the number of phenomena affecting detector performance. The high-pressure operation in noble gases and the ion feedback are considered in more detail.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Overhead-Aware Distributed CSI Selection in the MIMO Interference Channel

open access: yes, 2015
We consider a MIMO interference channel in which the transmitters and receivers operate in frequency-division duplex mode. In this setting, interference management through coordinated transceiver design necessitates channel state information at the ...
