Predictive feedforward compensator for dead-time processes

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2017
Abstract This paper deals with a predictive disturbance compensator for processes characterized by input-output and disturbance-output time delays. The proposed scheme provides a solution for configurations where the application of classical feedforward approach results in poor performance.

Cytokine‐Engineered Chimeric Antigen Receptor‐T Cell Therapy: How to Balance the Efficacy and Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cytokine‐engineered CAR‐T cells represent a promising immunotherapy against malignancies due to direct tumor killing and potent immunity response. However, significant toxicities, including CRS and ICANS, have restricted clinical applications. How to keep the risk‐benefit balance of the advanced therapy is of great importance for maximizing the benefit

Industrial manipulator control with feedforward dynamic compensation [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 27th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2003
The feasibility of implementing model-based control techniques on the existing hierarchical control architecture of industrial manipulators has been evaluated experimentally. Three critical issues are addressed: the impact of stiffer PD (proportional-derivative) loops on the performance of model-based controllers with incomplete dynamic compensation in

Macrophage Extracellular Traps in Immunity and Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
As a macrophage‐mediated innate defense mechanism, the dysregulated release of METs drives chronic inflammation and influences tumor progression. Furthermore, METs exhibit a functional duality within the tumor microenvironment, capable of both promoting and suppressing tumor development.

Precise Flowrate Control of Fluid Gear Pumps in Automated Painting Systems Using a Repetitive Controller

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
The fluid gear pump-based system has repetitive disturbances, such as flow ripples, due to the mechanical characteristics of the gear system. The periodic disturbances have negative effects on the precise flowrate control, which is essential for ...
