The World Health Organization and the American Psychiatric Association have identified eating disorders. This is the most common disease in the world. According to a systematic review, the prevalence of eating and feeding disorders was 3.5% between 2000 and 2006 and increased between 2013 and 2017 to 7.8 percent.

Hydrophilic Polymers Enable Gastrointestinal Transit Monitoring by Fluorine‐19 Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Hydrophilic fluorinated copolymers dissolve in chyme and give a strong, single 19F signal, unlike phase‐separating perfluorocarbons. Combined 1H‐19F MRI tracks their whole‐gut transit non‐invasively and without ionizing radiation.
