Additive Manufacturing of Broadband Dielectric Resonator Antennas Using Graded Permittivity and Modal Analysis

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This study enhances the bandwidth of dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs) by introducing a linearly graded permittivity profile. Characteristic Mode Analysis reveals that this approach broadens the modal distribution and extends the dominant resonant mode bandwidth.

Dos geometrías aplicadas a estructuras de defectos sobre planos de tierra rectangulares y circulares

open access: yesNova Scientia, 2016
En este trabajo se compara el rendimiento de una antena de parche rectangular realizada sobre planos de tierra rectangular y circular, respectivamente. Se observa una mayor ganancia para el caso circular pero un menor ancho de banda.

GPR Antenna Modelling Based on DML Exploiting Cosine Similarity Metric

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The proposed SNN‐KNN‐GPR framework. ABSTRACT Traditional full‐wave electromagnetic simulation software, such as HFSS or CST, requires substantial computational resources and time consumption, as does the construction of surrogate models when acquiring new samples. To overcome this data efficiency challenge, we propose a Data Augmentation (DA) modelling

Modified Physical Optics Approximation for RCS Calculation of Electrically Large Objects with Coated Dielectric [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering Innovations, 2015
The Radar Cross Section of a target plays an important role in the detection of targets by radars‎. ‎This paper presents a new method to predict the bistatic and monostatic RCS of coated electrically large objects.

Application of the CBF Method to the Scattering by Combinations of Bodies of Revolution and Arbitrarily Shaped Structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, an algorithm is described which enables efficient analysis of electromagnetic scattering by configurations consisting of arbitrarily shaped conducting bodies and conducting bodies of revolution (BoR).

Open‐Set Recognition of Radar One‐Dimensional Range Profiles Based on Attention Mechanism and Multi‐Task Joint Training

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
To address the issues in radar automatic target recognition (RATR) based on high‐resolution range profiles (HRRP)—specifically, the inability of closed‐set methods to handle unknown categories and the limitation of conventional open‐set methods that can only reject unknown categories without further subdivision—this paper proposes the MHA–CoST open‐set

Investigation of ducts as a “radar pinhole” for detecting objects through a wall [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
There is a continuing interest in the through-the-wall capabilities of radar. It has been found that walls behave as a low-pass medium, and therefore through-the-wall radar has been restricted to frequencies in the low GHz range.
