Three‐Dimensional Integral Equation‐based GSTC Method for Composite Structure With Arbitrary‐Shaped Nonpenetrating Metasurface

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
In this paper, we propose a three‐dimensional integral equation‐based GSTC solver for the electromagnetic analysis of metasurface composite structures. We present a novel numerical method, focusing on the rigorous enforcement of boundary conditions at the interfaces, a critical aspect in the problem formulation for composite structures.

Modelling of two-dimensional scattering centre of wind turbine based on Feko

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
The wind farm and high-frequency radar station inevitably produce more and more prominent electromagnetic interference problem. The key to solve the interference problem is to study the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of wind turbines in high ...

A Flexible K‐Band FMCW Radar Prototype for Low‐RCS Nano‐Drone Detection

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
A 5‐cm nano drone with its Doppler signature. ABSTRACT Nano‐drones are insect‐like drones used to provide intelligence through their capability of intrusion and ability to carry small sensors. They pose a defence and security threat and can potentially violate secure establishments and privacy rights.

Novel numerical analysis of electric fields in the near field of very‐low‐frequency antennas based on the charge simulation method

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation
Very‐low‐frequency (VLF) transmitting antennas have a crucial influence on the nearby electromagnetic environment. Commercial software packages, such as CST Studio Suite (CST) or Altair FEKO (FEKO), are always utilised to calculate the electric fields of

Micro-Doppler Ambiguity Resolution Based on Short-Time Compressed Sensing

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2015
When using a long range radar (LRR) to track a target with micromotion, the micro-Doppler embodied in the radar echoes may suffer from ambiguity problem.

Variable-fidelity optimization of microwave filters using co-kriging and trust regions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, a variable-fidelity optimization methodology for simulation-driven design optimization of filters is presented. We exploit electromagnetic (EM) simulations of different accuracy.

A new green's function formulation for modeling homogeneous objects in layered medium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A new Green's function formulation is developed systematically for modeling general homogeneous (dielectric or magnetic) objects in a layered medium. The dyadic form of the Green's function is first derived based on the pilot vector potential approach ...

Multi‐Shot Estimation of Resonance Parameters of Late‐Time Radar Returns in Clutter

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
A technique for estimating the resonant features of radar targets based on their late‐time returns (LTRs) is presented. Experimental results demonstrate that the technique is effective in scenarios where the target is embedded in significant clutter, and the signal‐to‐noise ratio in the LTRs is quite low.

MODELING OF MICROSTRIP ANTENNA ARRAYS USING THE INTEGRAL EQUATION METHOD

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
The application of the method of integral equations for finding the characteristics and parameters of microstrip antenna arrays is described. When modeling an array of microstrip dipoles each radiator is replaced a wire.
