Feldspar/MnO2 composite as adsorbent for Pb2+ and Cd2+ removal from aqueous solution
Increasing the adsorption efficiency of feldspar is the main target of this study. This was achieved by synthesizing new composite from feldspar and nanosized MnO2 by immersion natural feldspar in green-synthesized MnO2.

Abstract Alteration of historic CI1 meteorite falls during their curation demonstrates the susceptibility of smectite‐rich carbonaceous chondrites to terrestrial exposure. The discovery of Oued Chebeika 002 in Morocco in June 2024 presents a unique opportunity to document the earliest stages of weathering of a CI1 find.

ABSTRACT Thin ferruginous sandy crusts are common on top of sandstone beds in the Early Permian post‐glacial deposits of the Paraná Basin in southern Brazil. These crusts usually preserve wrinkle structures, suggesting that they might be a product of microbial mediation.
