Candidozyma cisalpinoae sp. nov. represents a distinct species within the Candidozyma clade, supported by multilocus phylogeny, genome‐scale metrics, and phenotypic traits. The mutualism between Tapinoma ibericum ants and Aphis gossypii disrupts the biological control exerted by Aphidius colemani in greenhouse peppers. Ant exclusion increased parasitism and the presence of most natural enemies, although Aphidoletes aphidimyza was more abundant with ants.
