Fell type topologies of quasi-pseudo-metric spaces and the Kuratowski-Painlevé convergence

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2001
We study the double Fell topology when this hypertopology is constructed over a quasi-pseudo-metric space. In particular, its relationship with the Wijsman hypertopology is studied.

On some metrics compatible with the Fell–Matheron topology

open access: yesInternational Journal of Approximate Reasoning, 2007
By modifying the Hausdorff-Buseman metric, a metric on the hyperspace of closed subsets of a Hausdorff locally compact second countable space is obtained that is compatible with the Fell topology. Two more compatible metrics are presented.

Fell topology on hyperspaces of locally compact spaces

open access: yesMatematychni Studii, 2007
We study general-topological and infinite-dimensional properties of the Fell topology on the hyperspace CldF (X) of closed subsets of a locally compact paracompact space X.

Selection principles and bitopological hyperspaces

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2023
In this paper we continue to research relationships between closure-type properties of hyperspaces over a space X and covering properties of X. For a Hausdorff space X we denote by 2X the family of all closed subsets of X.

Functional Connectivity-Derived Optimal Gestational-Age Cut Points for Fetal Brain Network Maturity

open access: yesBrain Sciences, 2021
The architecture of the human connectome changes with brain maturation. Pivotal to understanding these changes is defining developmental periods when transitions in network topology occur.

Cloning and Molecular Characterization of the phlD Gene Involved in the Biosynthesis of “Phloroglucinol”, a Compound with Antibiotic Properties from Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria Pseudomonas spp.

open access: yesAntibiotics, 2023
phlD is a novel kind of polyketide synthase involved in the biosynthesis of non-volatile metabolite phloroglucinol by iteratively condensing and cyclizing three molecules of malonyl-CoA as substrate. Phloroglucinol or 2,4-diacetylphloroglucinol (DAPG) is

A Comprehensive Review on Wireless Capacitive Power Transfer Technology: Fundamentals and Applications

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Capacitive power transfer (CPT) technology is becoming increasingly popular in various application areas. Due to its limitations, such as low frequency, low coupling capacitance, and the high voltage stress on metal plates, the studies on high power CPT ...
