Varifocal Meta‐Lens for Multifunctional Focusing and Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A varifocal meta‐lens enables dynamic switching between conventional focusing and non‐diffracting autofocusing beams, relying on a phase design with dual interpretations in both real space and the spatial frequency domain. By integrating a Moiré‐based tuning mechanism, the system achieves continuous focal length control in both modes.

Optically Driven Formation of Tailored Phonon Cavities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
It is demonstrated that a structured optical field creates nanoscale “phonon cavities” in van der Waals materials, where atomic vibrations are confined and controlled in space and time. This approach enables programmable control of cavity geometry, symmetry, and frequency, and provides a platform for ultrafast studies of nonequilibrium interactions and

Long‐Term Stable Subdural Recordings Enabled by Fibrosis‐Resistant Hydrogel‐Integrated µECoG Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An adhesive hydrogel‐integrated micro‐electrocorticography (aGel‐µECoG) array is developed to ensure stable neural recordings by minimizing neuroinflammation and fibrosis during implantation. The hydrogel serves as a biological and mechanical bridge, enabling bioadhesive, reversible, anti‐fibrotic integration with brain tissue.

Self‐Healing and Reprocessable Soft Robots Using 3D Digital Light Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work advances 3D digital light printing of soft robots made from self‐healing, recyclable elastomers enabled by dynamic covalent bonds. With the introduction of room‐temperature healing, these robots recover their mechanical performance (94.5% static, 87.5% dynamic) after damage and maintain their functionality.
