This competition can be covert or take the form of physical fights, which are easily observed in many species. Males take considerable risks when they fight, presumably because the price—access to reproduction—is so high.

Summary: Three cases of female circumcision are presented together with a literature review. Unfortunately, this procedure frequently results in genital mutilation. Treatment with deinfibulation enables restoration of the external genitalia and vagina.

We assessed the incidence, anatomical features and treatment of female epispadias.We studied 10 patients followed from 1 to 18 years. Four were operated on in 2 stages: first, cervicoplasty with original technique, and second, reconstruction of genitalia and distal urethra. Two had only a cervicoplasty.
