ABSTRACT This study evaluated the aggregate index of systemic inflammation (AISI) for predicting postoperative recurrence in endometrial cancer (EC). A total of 1557 patients were enrolled and divided into training (n = 1030) and validation (n = 527) cohorts. The optimal AISI cutoff was determined by ROC curve analysis.

ABSTRACT Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is a soft tissue neoplasm accounting for about 8% of solid tumors in children. There are mainly four histologic subtypes of RMS: embryonal, alveolar, spindle cell/sclerosing, and pleomorphic. The genitourinary tract is the second most affected primary site of RMS. Genitourinary RMS is more common in young boys than girls.

Araneomorph spiders are regarded as a model group for sexual selection studies, while the mating system of mygalomorph spiders remains largely unknown. We here report on the mating behaviour of an Australian wishbone spider species, involving a novel post‐copulatory behaviour for mygalomorph spiders (‘burrow plugging’).
