1973Cancer of the cervix is by far the commonest tumour of Ugandan women. The incidence is high in all parts of Uganda. Patients present late in the course of the disease and therapy is often impossible at this stage. Carcinoma of the corpus uteri is an uncommon tumour and often shows unusual histological patterns.

Malignant melanoma of the female genitalia
Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1990Fifteen women with genital malignant melanoma were studied. Their ages ranged from 19 to 66 years (mean 49.1 years); 12 were white, and three were black. The sites of involvement were the mons pubis (one patient), perineal body (one), labium majus (three), labium minus (three), and vagina (seven).

Urologic Clinics of North America, 1980The experience of the authors with the surgical reconstruction of female external genitalia is described. In all cases in which these procedures were used, reduction clitoroplasty resulted in satisfactory cosmetic appearance and the preservation of tactile sensation, and posterior flap vaginoplasty provided adequate introital capacity.
