A Triple‐Nanoparticle System for Controlled Graphene Nanosheet Stacking: Enabling K/Na‐Ion Battery Anodes with Ultra‐Fast Charging Exceeding Petroleum Vehicle Refueling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Large‐ion (K, Na) battery systems mitigate uneven global lithium distribution, while their ability to attain recharge time shorter than refueling would remove the final barrier for secondary batteries to replace petroleum vehicles. However, their large‐ion chemistry makes ultra‐fast charging an even significant challenge.

Bipolar Covalent Organic Frameworks Crafting Core–Shell Heterostructured Cathode for High–Performance Lithium–Organic Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bipolar CNT@COF core–shell heterostructure cathode constructed via synergistic molecular and microstructural engineering enables rapid electron/ion transport and efficient utilization of electroactive groups for high–performance lithium–organic batteries. ABSTRACT Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with tunable molecular structures and ordered porous

Mechanosensitive Piezo1/Osteocalcin/Irisin Axis Protects Against Disuse‐Induced Muscle Atrophy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mechanical unloading suppresses bone Piezo1 expression, which reduces circulating undercarboxylated osteocalcin (unOCN). unOCN reduction subsequently exacerbates IMM‐induced Fndc5/Irisin decrease and drives severe muscle atrophy. Bone Piezo1 activation or exogenous osteocalcin/Irisin ameliorate muscle atrophy, while muscle‐specific Gprc6a or Fndc5 ...

Enhancing Li‐S Battery Performance Through Low‐Concentration Electrolytes with Organic Se/Te Co‐Additives to Address Solubility and Kinetic Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a low‐concentration electrolyte enabled by hybrid organic Se/Te additives (DPDSe/DPDTe) that restructures solvation, boosts polysulfide dissolution, and provides dual‐site synergistic catalysis, delivering high capacity and stable cycling in Li–S coin and pouch cells, supporting high‐energy, high‐power operation.
