Tailoring Rheological and Functional Properties of Nickel‐Mangan‐Cobalt‐Based Recyclate Cathodes from Direct Recycling of Lithium‐Ion Battery Production Scrap

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
Direct recycled cathodes from electrode production scrap show improved performance by adding binder and conductive additive or blending recycled and fresh slurries. The rheological, microstructural, and functional properties could be matched to pristine material.

Hierarchical MXene–Carbon Nanotube Architectures for High‐Stability Silicon Oxide Anodes

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
A novel MXene–CNT hierarchical framework is synthesized via molecularly driven assembly and crosslinking, enabling electrically interconnected and mechanically reinforced Si/SiOx/C composite anodes. The CNTs bridge the MXene flakes to form a robust conductive network, while the MXene surface chemistry facilitates uniform SiOx/C coating and SEI ...

String Figuring young children's perspectives of quality in English early childhood education and care

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Quality in early childhood education and care (ECEC) is a contested concept and has generally been conceptualised by inter‐related indicators such as staff qualifications, educational environment, policy or child‐to‐staff ratios. ‘Where are the adults?’: Troubling child‐activism and children's political participation

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Children's political participation is a well‐established theme in childhood studies. In this article we offer an original account of child activism that takes into account the entangled and emergent aspect of children as activists. We begin with a historical and a conceptual review, noting the importance of mid‐20th century developments such ...

Activism as a long durée journey: Teachers against the Chilean neoliberal education model

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract In this paper, I use the idea of purposes of education, particularly subjectification, and the concept of love to explore long‐term teacher activism in Chile. ‘Long‐term activism’ is used to describe an ongoing struggle rather than activism confined to specific moments.
