FEMORAL NECK ANTEVERSION IN PERSPECTIVE
Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics, 1982Routine evaluation of anteversion by biplanar radiographic means is unreliable, poorly reproducible, and unnecessary. Isolated measurement of femoral neck anteversion is a concept which has outlived its usefulness. The relationship of the femoral head to the acetabulum is more important than the direct measurement of femoral anteversion.

Fractures of the proximal femur, commonly termed hip fracture, is a devastating injury for any age of patient.
