Arthroscopic medial meniscus trimming or repair under nerve blocks: Which nerves should be blocked?
Background: This study aimed to determine the role of the sciatic and obturator nerve blocks (in addition to femoral block) in providing painless arthroscopic medial meniscus trimming/repair.

Steroid receptor coactivator‐1 (SRC‐1) reprograms tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) via signal transducer and activator of transcription 1(STAT1)‐mediated matrix metallopeptidase 12 (MMP12) transcription to drive perineural invasion (PNI) in pancreatic cancer.

Background: Femoral nerve block (FNB) is a commonly performed technique that has been proven to provide effective regional analgesia after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. The adductor canal block (ACB) uses a similar sensory block around

Potentiating Cerebral Perfusion Normalizes Glymphatic Dynamics in Systemic Inflammation
LPS‐induced systemic inflammation increases glymphatic influx but delays cervical lymphatic drainage, accompanied by AQP4 depolarization and impaired glymphatic clearance. Enhancing cerebral blood flow via the inotropic agent levosimendan effectively restored AQP4 polarization, improving glymphatic flux and amyloid‐β clearance.

Background: Peripheral nerve blocks, particularly femoral nerve blocks (FNBs), are commonly performed for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. However, associated quadriceps muscle weakness after FNBs is well described and may occur for up to

Impaired anti‐tumor immunity is mediated by TREM2 + macrophages in non‐small cell lung cancer. TREM2 + macrophages prevent anti‐tumor immunity depending on the limitation of CD4 + T and NK cells. TREM2 promotes cholesterol efflux via ABCA1 to limit the production of CX3CL1 in macrophages.

Targeting Histamine H4 Receptor in the Rostral Ventromedial Medulla to Relieve Hypertension
H4R and its downstream TRPV1 channel mediate the excitatory effect of TMN histaminergic afferent inputs on GABAergic sympathoinhibitory neurons in RVMM. Intranasal delivery of selective H4R agonist VUF 8430 suppresses renal sympathetic outflow and elicits sustained depressor and bradycardia responses in SHRs and CUMS‐induced hypertensive rats ...
