Caracteritzation of noise in MEMS accelerometres for femtosats [PDF]
The aim of this thesis is to determine the characteristics of the noise of an ultralow noise MEMS accelerometer. The study of these characteristics will allow to determine if the accelerometer can be used in the scientific payload aboard a femtosat. And it the case that it is used, it will allow to calibrate the accelerometer to provide a better signal.

The exponential growth of the global population has given rise to an alarming surge in air pollution levels, casting profound repercussions on economies, ecosystems, and human well-being. The predominant method for assessing air quality involves the deployment of sensors atop buildings at regular intervals.

High Gain Miniaturized MPA with MSS for FemtoSat Communications
2019A metasurface superstrate structure (MSS) is highly useful for improving the performance of planar antennas and reducing their size due to their unique electromagnetic properties. In this research article, a very small microstrip patch antenna (MPA) with MSS is proposed and analyzed using ANSYS HFSS to operate at 8.20 GHz for ultra small satellites; i ...

FemtoSats in Zero-G ISS Experiment
The FemtoSats in Zero-G investigation was an ISS experiment in which a handheld deployer ejected four purely mechanical FemtoSats within the ISS. Femto Satellites are centimeter-scale spacecraft that weigh less than 100 grams. The FemtoSats and deployer were made on the Additive Manufacturing Facility (AMF) onboard the ISS on August 28th, 2017, and ...Hurford, Matthew +2 more
