Hadronic observables in hydrokinetic picture of A+A collisions at RHIC and LHC

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2014
The simultaneous description of the hadronic yields, pion, kaon and proton spectra, elliptic flows and femtoscopy scales in hydrokinetic model of A+A collisions is presented at different centralities for the top RHIC and LHC energies.

Recent flow and femtoscopy results from STAR [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2019
Azimuthal anisotropy and femtoscopic measurements provide information about collectivity and dynamics of the created medium. Data from the BES enables STAR to search for the turn-on/off signatures of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), for the first-order ...

Non-identical particle femtoscopy in Pb$-$Pb collisions at $ \mathbf{\sqrt{{\textit s}_{\rm NN}}}=2.76$ TeV measured with ALICE

open access: yes, 2018
Two-particle femtoscopic correlations between non-identical charged particles for different charge combinations are measured in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV with ALICE at the LHC.

Femtoscopy of Pb-Pb and pp collisions at the LHC with the ALICE experiment

open access: yes, 2011
We report on the results of femtoscopic analysis of Pb-Pb collisions at sqrt(s_NN)=2.76 TeV and pp collisions at sqrt(s)=0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV with identical pions and kaons.

What to Expect When You're Expecting: Femtoscopy at the LHC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
A huge systematics of femtoscopic measurements have been used over the past 20 years to characterize the system created in heavy ion collisions. These measurements cover two orders of magnitude in energy, and with LHC beams imminent, this range will be ...

The Farcos project: Femtoscope Array for Correlations and Femtoscopy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2013
The Farcos project (Femtoscope Array for Correlations and Spectroscopy) is discussed in this contribution. It consists of a new detector array designed and constructed by Exochim-Chimera group at INFN of Catania and Laboratori Nazionali del Sud. The array is described in its design and scientific goals to address.

Deciphering nonfemtoscopic two-pion correlations in $p+p$ collisions with simple analytical models

open access: yes, 2012
A simple model of nonfemtoscopic particle correlations in proton-proton collisions is proposed. The model takes into account correlations induced by the conservation laws as well as correlations induced by minijets.

Global conservation laws and femtoscopy of small systems [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review C, 2007
17 pages, 15 figures; version 2 now shows explicitly that off-diagonal terms in covariance matrix vanish when using multivariate central limit theorem, in Section V; also, figures updated for clarity, references added, and discussion of binning effects moved to an ...

The $\bf{\Lambda p}$ interaction studied via femtoscopy in p + Nb reactions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{s_{NN}}=3.18} ~\mathrm{\bf{GeV}}$

open access: yes, 2016
We report on the first measurement of $p\Lambda$ and $pp$ correlations via the femtoscopy method in p+Nb reactions at $\mathrm{\sqrt{s_{NN}}=3.18} ~\mathrm{GeV}$, studied with the High Acceptance Di-Electron Spectrometer (HADES).
