Redo surgery using IntraLase femtosecond laser for treating a decentered laser in situ keratomileusis flap

open access: yesJournal of International Medical Research, 2018
Objective Decentered flaps are rarely reported after femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis flap procedures. We present a patient with a decentered flap after preparation of a corneal flap using the Femto LDV technique. Methods The 22-year-old

Posterior corneal surface and anterior chamber changes after Small incision lenticule extraction and Femtosecond laser‐assisted laser in‐situ keratomileusis

open access: yesMedComm – Future Medicine, Volume 2, Issue 2, June 2023., 2023
To evaluate the posterior corneal and anterior chamber changes following small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) and femtosecond laser‐assisted laser in situ keratomileusis (FS‐LASIK). The correlations between surgical‐related factors and posterior corneal morphology changes, and between posterior corneal morphology changes and posterior corneal ...

Dynamic distribution and correlation analysis of the angle kappa in myopia patients undergoing femtosecond-assisted laser in situ keratomileusis

open access: yesMedicine, 2022
. Purpose:. To explore the offset distribution of pupillary centres, the offset between the pupil centre and the coaxially sighted corneal light reflex (P-Dist) and their correlation in femtosecond laser combined with excimer laser in situ keratomileusis.

Corneal epithelial dendritic cells, tear neuropeptides and corneal nerves continue to be affected more than 12 months after LASIK

open access: yesActa Ophthalmologica, Volume 101, Issue 3, Page e302-e314, May 2023., 2023
Abstract Purpose LASIK causes corneal nerve damage and may affect the neuro‐immune crosstalk. This study examined the effects of LASIK on corneal epithelial dendritic cells (CEDC) density and morphology and explored their relationships with corneal nerves and tear neuropeptides. A grading system was developed to assess CEDC morphology.
