Bioactive siRNA‐Based Liposomes Promoted Tendon‐Bone Healing in Osteoporotic Mice by Recovering the Stemness of CD248+ TSPCs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, it is found that osteoporosis leads to disturbances in the Extracellular Matrix (ECM)of tendons and thus causes a decrease in TSPC stemness, resulting in a rotator cuff that is easily damaged and prone to retearing after repair. Targeted intervention with si‐CD248‐loaded liposomes can restore TSPC stemness, promote tendon‐bone healing ...

Investigating the reliability of digital templating for hip hemiarthroplasty for neck of femur fracture

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Reports
Aims and objectives: Hip hemiarthroplasty is commonly performed for intracapsular neck of femur fractures in the elderly. Digital templating is commonly used in elective arthroplasty however its use is less well established in the setting of trauma. This

A Soft‐Tip Hydraulically Steerable Catheter for Enhanced Flexibility and Safety in Vascular Interventions

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study introduces a hydraulically steerable catheter with a soft tip in vascular procedures. The steering soft tip achieves a minimal diameter of 2.6 mm and supports a 180° bend. Real‐time shape and position tracking, facilitated by segmentation and endpoint detection techniques, improves navigation.
