Fermionic oscillator in a fermionic bath

Physical Review E, 2012
The quantum dissipation of a fermionic oscillator in an environment of fermionic oscillators is considered. Since fermions anticommute, their eigenvalues are anticommuting numbers. Based on an expansion of the reduced density operator in terms of fermionic coherent states which make use of these anticommuting numbers or Grassmann variables, a Fokker ...

Fermion-Fermion Stars

Communications in Theoretical Physics, 1999
The fermion-fermion stars, i.e., the dark matter self-gravitating systems made from two kinds of fermions with different masses, are considered. We review the stability of the systems, present a comparison between the maxima of gravitational redshift for fermion stars, compact stars, Bondi stars, bonson stars and fermion-fermion stars, and then ...

An exact fermion algorithm and the pseudo-fermions

Nuclear Physics A, 1987
Abstract Using an algorithm that incorporates the fermion determinant exactly, we investigated the full QCD with 4 light dynamical flavours on a small, 4 4 , lattice. Comparing the results so obtained for various physical observables with those obtained by using the pseudo-fermion algorithm instead, we found a quantitatively good agreement.
