Abstract Objective The objective of this study is to validate the fullPIERS (Pre‐eclampsia Integrated Estimate of Risk) prognostic model in a large, multicenter cohort of Brazilian women with preeclampsia and to determine the optimal cutoff for clinical application in the Brazilian context.

Incidental Detection of Portal Venous Gas During POCUS in a Neonate With Necrotizing Enterocolitis and Intestinal Perforation: A Case Report

Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
Point‐of‐care ultrasound performed at the bedside identified hepatic portal venous gas in a critically ill neonate, prompting urgent evaluation and revealing intestinal perforation due to necrotizing enterocolitis. This case highlights the potential of POCUS to accelerate diagnosis when clinical signs are subtle or nonspecific.
