Impulse switching of ferrites

Papers and discussions presented at the December 3-5, 1958, eastern joint computer conference: Modern computers: objectives, designs, applications on XX - AIEE-ACM-IRE '58 (Eastern), 1958
Memory designs at present reflect either the applications, size, or environment of the memory. Many desired memory characteristics oppose each other in the determination of the memory design and there has been no general solution to the basic problems associated with magnetic storage.

Ferrite microwave detector

IRE International Convention Record, 1958
In treating the behavior of the magnetic moments of unbalanced electron spins in ferromagnetic materials under the action of an rf field, second-order terms in the alternating components are usually neglected. It is shown here that retention of certain second-order terms for one component of the magnetization predicts the possibility of using ferrites ...

Magnetostriction in Nickel Ferrite and Cobalt—Nickel Ferrite

Journal of Applied Physics, 1966
The magnetostriction constants λ100 and λ111 for nickel ferrite have been measured using a ferromagnetic resonance technique which also permits measurements of linewidth, g factor, and anisotropy on the same sample. Our measurements show that all of these parameters are essentially temperature independent from 4° to 300°K in contrast to the behavior of

The magnetization process in ferrites

Physica, 1951
Abstract The initial magnetization curve of ferrites has been measured as a function of frequency up to 2 Mc/s. It has been found that the magnetization of sintered ceramic ferrites with a high permeability is brought about by at least two processes, one of which, in the frequency range covered, is independent of frequency and determines the initial ...

Simulation of ferrites by SPICE

Proceedings of the 2005 European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design, 2005., 2006
The text concisely shows the algorithm for computation of parameters of soft ferrite to simulate it with the model implemented in the mixed-signal simulator from Cadence. The model of nonlinear magnetic material implemented in the simulator is based on Jiles and Atherton model of hysteresis and can be easy implemented outside the simulator.
