Domain structure of (011) crystalline garnet ferrite plates
Technical Physics, 2003The domain structure in (011) crystalline garnet ferrite plates is studied with allowance for induced uniaxial anisotropy and two-constant cubic anisotropy. It is shown that the inclusion of the second constant of cubic anisotropy greatly affects the orientational phase diagram and also the topology of magnetic inhomogeneities in a given magnet.

Anomalies of magnetooptical diffraction in ferrite-garnet films
Russian Physics Journal, 1997Experimental magnetooptical diffraction spectra produced by the band domain sructure in an epitaxial ferrite-garnet film are described. Asymmetry of the optical field in symmetric maxima is observed when a laser beam is normally incident on the sample.

Epitaxial Garnets and Hexagonal Ferrites.
1980Abstract : The objective of this research is to develop new and improved epitaxial ferrite materials for use in microwave and millimeter-wave signal processing devices. The major emphasis has been on multiple layer magnetic garnet structures for magnetostatic wave (MSW) delay lines.

Axially symmetrical domain structures in garnet ferrite films
Physics of the Solid State, 2000The process of domain structure formation and evolution after magnetization of a small area of a garnet ferrite film to saturation was examined with the use of modified two-step high-speed photography. It was found that the radial deformation caused by magnetizing coil breaks the uniaxial anisotropy of the specimen and results in formation of the ...

A mixed domain structure in ferrite-garnet films
Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Physics, 2002A stable static mixed domain structure consisting of strip domains and a cylindrical magnetic domain (CMD) is obtained in (Bi0.7Lu0.3)3 (Fe0.8Ga0.2)5 O12 ferrite-garnet films. An analytic theory of the mixed domain structure is constructed. An analytic solution is obtained for the shape of a distorted strip domain, which is in good agreement with ...

SWITCHING PROPERTIES OF FERRITES AND GARNETS
1962Abstract : Results of an experimental and theoretical study of the switching properties of ferrimagnetic oxides are presented. Two terms - the switching time, the time required by the magnetization to reverse, and the switching parameter, S sub W, the inverse slope of the curve of the variation of the reciprocal switching time with the applied fieldch ...

Light modified switching properties of garnets and ferrites
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1970The influence of light on the switching behavior of Si-doped Y 3 Fe 5 O 12 and Co-substituted Ni-Zn ferrites is investigated. After irradiation with light, YIG (Si) has an extremely square hysteresis loop, and the switching transients display anomalous behavior.

Linewidth of ferromagnetic resonance in holmium yttrium garnet ferrites
Physics of the Solid State, 2009The specific features experimentally observed in the behavior of the linewidth of ferromagnetic resonance in holmium yttrium garnet ferrites were investigated as a function of the orientation of the external magnetic field at low temperatures. The analysis was performed using the model spectrum of holmium ions, according to which the ground state of ...

Visualization of nonuniform magnetic fields by garnet ferrite films
Technical Physics, 2002The magnetization distribution in epitaxial garnet ferrite films subjected to the harmonic field of a signal from a magnetic tape is studied. By means of image processing techniques and diffraction spectrum analysis, it is shown that the distortion of the signal shape grows with increasing amplitude and period of the field.

Phase Transitions in the Two-Layer Ferrite-Garnet Film
Solid State Phenomena, 2014The peculiarities of domain structures (DS) have been investigated in the two-layer film of (YGdTm)3(FeGa)5O12/(YEu)3(FeGa)5O12 composition with a magnetic compensation point (TC) in one of the layers and in the single-layer witnesses-films. It is shown that a change in the ratio of energies of magnetostatic and exchange interactions between the layers
