Magnetization reversal in ferrite magnets

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1989
Abstract The effect of particle size on the magnetization reversal in ferrite magnets has been examined by correlating the hard magnetic properties with the microstructure. Initial magnetization curves, field and temperature dependence of coercivity and the remanence curves were obtained and compared with the predictions of theoretical models.

Calcium Lanthanum Permanent Magnetic Ferrite Coupled with Soft Magnetic Ferrite

Advanced Materials Research, 2011
This paper introduces the production method of calcium lanthanum permanent magnetic ferrite coupled with soft magnetic ferrite components. This type of calcium lanthanum permanent magnetic ferrite has excellent magnetic properties. Soft magnetic ferrite components (CoFe2O4) can be coupled effectively with permanent magnetic ferrite (the main ...

Radially oriented ferrite magnets

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1979
A new manufacturing method, magnetic-field-free-process, to obtain radially oriented ferrite magnets was developed, utilizing the shape anisotropy of the particles of strontium magnetoplumbite, with the following properties : Br = 365mT, bHc = 225kA/m, iHc = 240kA/m, (BH)max = 24kJ/m3, density = 4950 kg/m3, flexural strength = 167MPa.

Magnetic domain imaging of a very rough fractured surface of Sr ferrite magnet without topographic crosstalk by alternating magnetic force microscopy with a sensitive FeCo-GdOx superparamagnetic tip

Journal of Applied Physics, 2018
We imaged the magnetic domain of an extremely rough surface (with a roughness of ∼1 μm) of the anisotropic Sr ferrite sintered magnet without any topographic crosstalk by alternating magnetic force microscopy (A-MFM) using a sensitive FeCo-GdOx ...

The magnetization process in ferrites

Physica, 1951
Abstract The initial magnetization curve of ferrites has been measured as a function of frequency up to 2 Mc/s. It has been found that the magnetization of sintered ceramic ferrites with a high permeability is brought about by at least two processes, one of which, in the frequency range covered, is independent of frequency and determines the initial ...
