Magnetic excitations in dicalcium ferrite

Abstract Submillimeter spectra (10–100cm-1) were measured for the first time in the orthorhombic antiferromagnet dicalcium ferrite Ca2Fe2O5 in zero magnetic field. Two magnon modes have been observed by means of Fourier spectroscopy at temperatures 4.2–350K.

ÖZET Bu çalışmada BaFeıo.sCojsTio.zsOıg formülü ile verilen katkılı (doped) Ba- ferrit kristalleri sentezlendi ve yapısal özellikleri incelendi, öncü çökelti birlikte çöktürme yöntemi ile hazırlandı. Elde edilen çökelti çeşitli sıcaklıklarda ısıtılarak Ba-ferrit kristallerine dönüştürüldü.
