Eddy current generation enhancement using ferrite for electromagnetic acoustic transduction [PDF]
Eddy currents are generated in an electrically conducting surface as a step in electromagnetic acoustic transduction (EAT). In eddy current testing, wire coils are often wound onto a ferrite core to increase the generated eddy current.

Detection of inter-turn faults in multi-phase ferrite-PM assisted synchronous reluctance machine [PDF]
Inter-turn winding faults in five-phase ferrite-permanent magnet-assisted synchronous reluctance motors (fPMa-SynRMs) can lead to catastrophic consequences if not detected in a timely manner, since they can quickly progress into more severe short-circuit

A Novel Magnet-Axis-Shifted Hybrid Permanent Magnet Machine for Electric Vehicle Applications
This paper proposes a novel magnet-axis-shifted hybrid permanent magnet (MAS-HPM) machine, which features an asymmetrical magnet arrangement, i.e., low-cost ferrite and high-performance NdFeB magnets, are placed in the two sides of a “▽„ ...

This study reveals how wave propagation in FG‐MEE nanoplates can be tuned via material gradients, porosity, and external fields. Using NSGT and Hamilton's principle, analytical solutions capture key dispersion behaviors. Findings highlight the potential of smart nanoplates for adaptive control in high‐performance applications like sonar and aerospace ...

In our previous work, we succeeded in fabricating ferrite/Sm2Fe17N3 composite magnets from explosive-consolidating Sm2Fe17N3 powders (2μm size) which were coated with a continuous iron ferrite layer (50nm thick) in an aqueous solution.

Solvothermal synthesis of magnetic spinel ferrites
At present, solvothermal fabrication method has widely been applied in the synthesis of spinel ferrite nanoparticles (SFNs), which is mainly because of its great advantages such as precise control over size, shape distribution, and high crystallinity that do not require postannealing treatment.

Achieving Large and Anisotropic Spin‐Mediated Thermal Transport in Textured Quantum Magnets
An advanced solvent‐cast cold pressing method is developed to synthesize highly textured quantum magnets. By aligning spin chains in Ca2CuO3 perpendicular to the pressing direction, a spin‐mediated thermal conductivity of 10 ± 1 W m⁻¹ K⁻¹ is achieved, the highest reported for polycrystalline quantum materials.
