Ferroelectric ceramics research in china

Ferroelectrics, 1981
Abstract The activities of ferroelectric ceramics research in China are introduced. Besides the conventional barium titanate and lead zirconate titanate ceramics, the induced phase transition in PZT, the (Ba1-XSrx)2NaNb5O15,(Na1-XLiX)NbO3 system, the hot forging of Bi4(PbXSr1-X)Ti4O15, the mixed oxide system of the low sintering temperature are ...

Ferroelectric ceramic memory devices

1964 International Electron Devices Meeting, 1964
This paper discusses the information storage characteristics of an improved lead zirconate-lead titanate ferroelectric ceramic composition. The memory elements discussed are ceramic disc resonators operated in the radial extensional mode and utilizing small-signal, nondestructive readout of the remanent polarization state.

Ferroelectric ceramics in a pyroelectric accelerator

Applied Physics Letters, 2015
The applicability of polarized ferroelectric ceramics as a pyroelectric in a pyroelectric accelerator is shown by experiments. The spectra of X-ray radiation of energy up to tens of keV, generated by accelerated electrons, have been measured on heating and cooling of the ceramics in vacuum.

Ferroelectric Fatigue of KNN Ceramics

Ferroelectrics, 2015
Phase-pure KNN (K0.5Na0.5NbO3) was synthesized from Rochelle salt and niobium pentoxide through solid-state route and the synthesized powder was sintered at 1130°C to get dense KNN ceramics. After polarization fatigue test, it was found that the d33, kP and remanent polarization (Prem) of KNN decreased substantially.

Relaxor ferroelectric-based ceramics

2010
Ferroelectric relaxor characteristics are discussed in conjunction with the disordered arrangement of the constituent ions. Dielectric properties are characterized by giant and temperature-insensitive dielectric constants and large frequency dependence (referred to as “dielectric relaxation”).

New aspects in ferroelectric ceramics

Ferroelectrics, 1980
Abstract A survey will be presented about the considerable progress which recently has been achieved in the applicability of ferroelectric ceramics. This progress has been obtained by using conventional ferroelectric ceramic materials in combination with second phases of different physical properties (e.g. Pb(Zr, Ti)O3-polymer composites). Furthermore,

Thermal Conduction in Ferroelectric Ceramics

Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1960
Apparatuses were constructed and measurements were made on the thermal conductivity of insulating crystals over the temperature ranges from -200°C to 600°C. For the lower temperature range, the absolute measurement was used, while for the higher one, the comparative method was adopted.

Thinned ferroelectric crystals and ceramics

Proceedings of 1994 IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics, 2002
In interpreting the properties of thin film ferroelectrics, it is useful to have baseline electrical property data on thinned single crystals and ceramics over the same thickness range, In this study, the properties of thinned BaTiO/sub 3/ have been investigated. To examine the quality of the surfaces produced, spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE) was used.
