Magnetoviscous Property and Hyperthermia Effect of Amorphous Nanoparticle Aqueous Ferrofluids

open access: yesNanoscale Research Letters, 2018
Magnetic Fe-B, Fe-Ni-B, and Co-B nanoparticles were successfully synthesized and introduced to water to prepare aqueous ferrofluids. The Fe-B, Fe-Ni-B, and Co-B particles are homogeneous amorphous nanoparticles with an average particle size 15 nm.

Strong deformation of ferrofluid-filled elastic alginate capsules in inhomogenous magnetic fields

open access: yes, 2018
We present a new system based on alginate gels for the encapsulation of a ferrofluid drop, which allows us to create millimeter-sized elastic capsules that are highly deformable by inhomogeneous magnetic fields.

Navigating the Ethereal Tightrope: The Nanogenerator Manipulates Neurons for Immune Equilibrium

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review explores how nanogenerators modulate neuroimmune responses, offering innovative strategies for treating neurological disorders. By interfacing with neural pathways, they enable precise control of immune activity, especially via vagus nerve stimulation.

Ferrofluid Flow in the Presence of Magnetic Field Above Stretching Sheet

open access: yesTribology in Industry, 2019
Magneto-thermomechanical interaction between heated viscous incompressible ferrofluid and a cold wall in the presence of a spatially varying magnetic field is investigated. A model for two dimensional ferrofluid flows is constructed.

Ferrofluids: properties and applications [PDF]

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Physics, 2005
Magnetic fluids may be classified as ferrofluids (FF), which are colloidal suspensions of very fine (» 10 nm) magnetic particles, and magnetorheological fluids, which are suspensions of larger, usually non-stable, magnetic particles. We review the general classification and the main properties of FF, some theoretical models and a few applications.
