Resonances in Ferromagnetic Gratings Detected by Microwave Photoconductivity
We investigate the impact of microwave excited spin excitations on the DC charge transport in a ferromagnetic (FM) grating. We observe both resonant and nonresonant microwave photoresistance.

Automation of ferromagnetic resonance spectrometer
A method of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) is described. It has been verified and substantiatied that the parameters of FMR can be used for studying of dislocation structure of surface of ferromagnetics at depth of 10-6-10-7 m.

Substitution effects on magnetic properties of Mg1.3-xMnxAlyFe1.8-yO4 ferrite
Mg1.3-xMnxAlyFe1.8-yO4 (x = 0.1–0.2, y = 0.15–0.3) spinel ferrites were prepared using conventional ceramic technique. Highly densified Mg–Mn–Al ferrites (with 99% theoretical density) were obtained, and the influence of Mn and Al substitution on the ...

FERROMAGNETICS IN MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING [PDF]
Useful tool in diagnostic radiology is magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Scanning with this system can cause interaction between ferromagnetic used for creation of implants and magnetic fields of MRI. In order to determine magnetic field distribution the

Dual-frequency ferromagnetic resonance
We describe a new experimental technique to investigate coupling effects between different layers or modes in ferromagnetic resonance (FMR). Dual FMR frequencies are excited (2-8 GHz) simultaneously and detected selectively in a broadband RF circuit ...

Shell-ferromagnetism in a Ni-Mn-In off-stoichiometric Heusler studied by ferromagnetic resonance
Next to the multifunctional properties of Ni-Mn-based Heusler alloys new functionalities related to shell-ferromagnetism are emerging. To understand in more detail the properties of shell-ferromagnetism we examine a decomposed Ni50.0Mn45.1In4.9 off ...

Spin battery operated by ferromagnetic resonance
Precessing ferromagnets are predicted to inject a spin current into adjacent conductors via Ohmic contacts, irrespective of a conductance mismatch with, for example, doped semiconductors.
