A single‐step, low‐temperature co‐pyrolysis process removes encapsulated seed metal NPs (10–50 nm) from CNTs, redistributing them as surface‐anchored metal and metal–nitride NCs (1–1.5 nm). Herein, Ni3N NCs achieve an ultra‐low onset overpotential for CO2 reduction to CO with >98% Faradaic efficiency across 100–700 mA cm−2.

Probing ferromagnetic order in few-fermion correlated spin-flip dynamics
We unravel the dynamical stability of a fully polarized one-dimensional ultracold few-fermion spin-1/2 gas subjected to inhomogeneous driving of the itinerant spins.

The two-point correlation function of a Potts model on a graph $G$ may be expressed in terms of the flow polynomials of `Poissonian' random graphs derived from $G$ by replacing each edge by a Poisson-distributed number of copies of itself. This fact extends to Potts models the so-called random-current expansion of the Ising model.

A New Memory Effect in Bulk Crystals of 1T‐TaS2
A new memory effect is discovered in 1T‐TaS₂, appearing as a temperature shift in the metal to insulator transition, coinciding with the recently reported ramp reversal memory. These findings imply that ramp reversal memory is an emergent phenomenon, likely to appear in many different systems that share a few basic properties, which are discussed in ...

Structural and electronic properties of Eu- and Pd-doped ZnO
Doping ZnO with rare earth and 4d transition elements is a popular technique to manipulate the optical properties of ZnO systems. These systems may also possess intrinsic ferromagnetism due to their magnetic moment borne on 4f and 4d electrons.

Exploring the thermodynamics of spin-1 Bose gases with synthetic magnetization
We study the thermodynamic properties of a spin-1 Bose gas across the Bose–Einstein condensation transition. We present the theoretical description of the thermodynamics of a trapped ideal spin-1 Bose gas and we describe the phases that can be obtained ...

From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

We study the properties of the surface states in three-dimensional topological insulators in the presence of a ferromagnetic exchange field. We demonstrate that for layered materials like $\text{Bi}_2 \text{Se}_3$ the surface states on the top surface ...

Optical Whispering‐Gallery Mode as a Fingerprint of Magnetic Ordering in Van der Waals Layered CrSBr
A novel nanoscale optomagnetic sensing approach is developed using whispering‐gallery mode resonances in a self‐rolled‐up microcavity. This method enables ultra‐sensitive detection of weak magnetism by correlating resonance shifts with magnetic susceptibility.
