Origin of the Laser‐Induced Picosecond Spin Current Across Magnetization Compensation in Ferrimagnetic GdCo

Anisotropic Laser Performance in an Optically Isotropic Crystal by Phonon Engineering

The symmetry‐breaking in a photon–phonon collaboratively pumped laser is investigated for the first time. Using an optically isotropic Nd:YAG crystal, the phonon‐assisted electronic transitions accompanied by anisotropic fluorescence emission are observed.

When Two Becomes Three: Predicting Stable Ternary Boron‐Based Compounds by Populating Unique Lattice Sites in Binary Prototype Structures

By substituting lattice sites in 16 binary prototypes, over 27 000 boron‐based ternary compounds are studied, revealing 155 stable candidates. The analysis identifies 31 compounds with superior hardness and elastic moduli compared to their binary counterparts.

Self‐Assembly Engineering of Fullerene‐Like Polyhedra: V60, V66, V72 From {MV5} Pentagonal Second Building Block

A precise self‐assembly of fullerene‐like V60‐MOP constructed from the first discovered polyoxovanadates five‐membered ring V5 units is discovered. In situ modifications are successfully used to insert {MO5} (M = V/Mo) in the center of the V5 ring, resulting in three other isomorphic spherical cages V66‐MOP, V72‐MOP, and V60Mo12‐MOP.

Enhanced Field‐Like Torque Generated from the Anisotropic Spin‐Split Effect in Triple‐Domain RuO2 for Energy‐Efficient Spin–Orbit Torque Magnetic Random‐Access Memory

This study shows an unexplored avenue toward engineering spin‐split effect‐induced spin‐orbit torque (SOT) in triple‐domain structured (100) RuO2/Co‐Fe‐B system where the field‐like torque is significantly enhanced compared with the Slonzewsky‐like torque.
