Beyond Deterministic Fetal Programming: Intrauterine Exposures and the Multifactorial Origins of Adiposity

open access: yesObesity Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Excess adiposity is not a recently developed problem but has existed since at least the upper Paleolithic, allowing evolutionary selection pressures to adapt the physiology of the pregnant woman and the feto‐placental unit for maternal and fetal protection.

Avaliação da hemorragia feto-materna em puérperas com indicação para ministração de imunoglobulina anti-D Evaluation of fetomaternal hemorrhage in postpartum patients with indication for administration of anti-D immunoglobulin

open access: yesCadernos de Saúde Pública, 2005
Avaliamos a ocorrência da hemorragia feto-materna entre 343 puérperas que receberiam profilaxia da aloimunização Rh com emprego de imunoglobulina anti-D.

Spaceborne and spaceborn: Physiological aspects of pregnancy and birth during interplanetary flight

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Crewed interplanetary return missions that are on the planning horizon will take years, more than enough time for initiation and completion of a pregnancy. Pregnancy is viewed as a sequence of processes – fertilization, blastocyst formation, implantation, gastrulation, placentation, organogenesis, gross morphogenesis, birth and neonatal ...

Dini Lider Tipolojisi (FETÖ Örneği)

open access: yesEskiyeni, 2017

Thromboinflammatory biomarkers in obstetric pathophysiology: Predictive insights into placental insufficiency and feto‐maternal adverse outcomes

open access: yesClinical and Translational Discovery, Volume 6, Issue 4, August 2026.
Placental insufficiency is a thromboinflammatory disorder driven by angiogenic imbalance, complement activation, endothelial dysfunction and coagulation dysregulation, leading to microvascular thrombosis, impaired uteroplacental perfusion and adverse maternal and fetal outcomes, including pre‐eclampsia, fetal growth restriction and stillbirth. Abstract

The FemTech revolution: Unlocking the potential of new technology for optimizing pregnancy outcomes in low‐ and middle‐income countries and remote areas

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, Volume 174, Issue 2, Page 530-553, August 2026.
Abstract Maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity rates uncover major global health disparities. Despite ongoing efforts, the rates of maternal and neonatal complications remain substantially higher in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs) compared to high‐income countries (HICs). These high rates are the result of several unmet needs in LMICs,

Unraveling and Mitigating Resolution Loss in UV‐Assisted Vapor Phase Polymerization of Monolithic PEDOT:Tosylate Electrochromic Patterns

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 27, 17 July 2026.
This work aims to understand the origin of pattern deviation in PEDOT:Tos films formed via vapor phase polymerization on UV‐exposed oxidant. UV exposure induces formation of loosely bound water which diffuses and produces macroscopic structuring at increased block copolymer contents.

In Silico Fragment Size Selection for Enhanced Fetal Fraction and Abnormality Origin Discernment Using Pair‐End Sequencing of Maternal Plasma DNA

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, Volume 40, Issue 13, July 2026.
This study presents a new bioinformatics pipeline for noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) that filters DNA fragments to significantly improve the fetal DNA fraction. This enhanced method successfully analyzed samples previously rejected for low fetal fraction and could distinguish between fetal and maternal chromosomal abnormalities.
