Bamboo‐Like Whiskers‐Reinforced Bioceramics Accelerate Large Segmental Bone Regeneration via Dual Modulation of Type‐H Vessels and Osteoinduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The graphical abstract image of bamboo‐like whisker‐reinforced Ca‐P bioceramics accelerating large segmental bone regeneration. ABSTRACT Regenerative repair of segmental bone defect remains a major clinical challenge. The conventional mental implants suffer from mechanical strength mismatch and long‐term foreign bodies presence.

Dynamic Self‐Clickable Decellularized Matrix Hydrogels for Regulating Vascularity and Enhancing Muscle Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dynamic decellularized hydrogels are prepared using bovine decellularized small intestine submucosa (SIS) norbornene (dSIS‐NB). Bovine dSIS contained significant amounts of disulfide‐rich fibrillin‐I, enabling ‘self‐clickable’ thiol‐norbornene gelation and spatiotemporal tuning of hydrogel physicochemical properties.

Doppler Assessment of the Fetal Brain Circulation

open access: yesDiagnostics
Doppler assessment of fetal cerebral circulation has become a cornerstone of modern fetal medicine. It is used to evaluate cerebral vascular malformations, brain anomalies, fetal growth restriction due to placental insufficiency, fetal anemia, and ...

The Effects of Fetal Surgery on Retinopathy of Prematurity Development

open access: yes, 2009
Background: Fetal surgery is selectively offered for severe or life-threatening fetal malformations. These infants are often born prematurely and are thus at risk for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).

Scalable Engineering of Bio‐Manufactured Extracellular Vesicles for Selective Delivery in Ovarian Cancer Patient‐Derived Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered extracellular vesicles displaying Ephrin‐B2 selectively target Ephrin‐B4–expressing ovarian cancer cells, enabling precise delivery in patient‐derived models. This scalable bio‐manufacturing platform reveals a versatile strategy to exploit Ephrin signaling for highly specific therapeutic payload delivery and motivates exploration of tailored

Fetal sodium valproate exposure causes Baller-Gerold syndrome phenotype: both phenotypes in the same family

open access: yesThe Turkish Journal of Pediatrics, 2009
Baller-Gerold syndrome (BGS) is characterized by craniosynostosis and preaxial upper-limb malformations, and it has an autosomal recessive inheritance.

12-14 week scan with emphasis on risk assessment for fetal structural malformations and fetal loss

open access: yes, 2007
The aim was to evaluate first trimester nuchal translucency (NT) measurement for detection and risk assessment of fetal malformations and fetal loss. 39 572 pregnant women were randomised to either a routine ultrasound scan at 12-14 weeks including NT ...
