Hawking radiation from Feynman diagrams [PDF]
The aim of this letter is to clarify the relationships between Hawking radiation and the scattering of light by matter falling into a black hole. To this end we analyze the S-matrix elements of a model composed of a massive infalling particle (described by a quantized field) and the radiation field.

An α‐Al2O3‐decorated multilayer graphene membrane enables highly selective lithium ion extraction from artificial seawater via electrodialysis. The confined ion channels and competitive ion transport dynamics enhance lithium selectivity, achieving 88.9% purity and 88.6% recovery over three extraction cycles while maintaining stable ion flux.

ABSTRACT We propose a manifestly duality‐invariant, Lorentz‐invariant, and local action to describe quantum electrodynamics in the presence of magnetic monopoles that derives from Sen's formalism. By employing field strengths as the dynamical variables, rather than potentials, this formalism resolves longstanding ambiguities in prior frameworks.
