Feynman-diagrams approach to the quantum Rabi model for ultrastrong cavity QED: stimulated emission and reabsorption of virtual particles dressing a physical excitation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In quantum field theory, bare particles are dressed by a cloud of virtual particles to form physical particles. The virtual particles affect properties such as the mass and charge of the physical particles, and it is only these modified properties that ...

Reprogrammable All‐Photonic Molecular Logic With Ln3+ Luminescent Hybrids in Solid State

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Mario P. de‐Saralegui et al. report an Eu3⁺/Tb3⁺‐doped organic–inorganic hybrid material that enables multiple reprogrammable logic operations using only physical stimuli. Additionally, this solid‐state, all‐photonic platform represents the first example in the literature performing reversible Feynman logic operations, marking a major step toward ...

Multiparton webs beyond three loops

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Correlators of Wilson-line operators are fundamental ingredients for the study of the infrared properties of non-abelian gauge theories. In perturbation theory, they are known to exponentiate, and their logarithm can be organised in terms of collections ...

Wheeler-DeWitt equation and Feynman diagrams

open access: yes, 1997
We present a systematic expansion of all constraint equations in canonical quantum gravity up to the order of the inverse Planck mass squared. It is demonstrated that this method generates the conventional Feynman diagrammatic technique involving ...

GASCAP: Accelerating Adsorption Evaluation Using Graph Voronoi Diagram and Machine Learning Method

open access: yesMaterials Genome Engineering Advances, EarlyView.
GASCAP achieve comprehensive evaluations of adsorption on solid surfaces in high‐throughput way. ABSTRACT Adsorption on a solid surface is a significant chemical process in the fields of gas sensors, solid catalysts, hydrogen storage materials, and ion batteries.

d-dimensional SYK, AdS loops, and 6j symbols

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We study the 6j symbol for the conformal group, and its appearance in three seemingly unrelated contexts: the SYK model, conformal representation theory, and perturbative amplitudes in AdS.

Role of vertex corrections in the matrix formulation of the random phase approximation for the multiorbital Hubbard model

open access: yes, 2016
In the framework of a multiorbital Hubbard model description of superconductivity, a matrix formulation of the superconducting pairing interaction that has been widely used is designed to treat spin, charge and orbital fluctuations within a random phase ...

Electronic Correlation Effects in the Response of Graphene and MoS2 Monolayers to the Impact of Highly‐Charged Ions

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), EarlyView.
The response of graphene and MoS2 monolayers to highly‐charged impinging ions is investigated using nonequilibrium Green functions theory. Electronic correlations are found to have a significantly stronger influence on the ultrafast ion‐induced electron dynamics in MoS2 than in graphene.

Site‐Engineered Corundum‐Structured Aesthetic Composites for Alleviating Heat Accumulation to Mitigate Urban Heat Islands

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Urban heat islands have become a global issue, as they severely impact several key factors, including elevated energy consumption, increased air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, compromised human health and comfort, and reduced water quality.
