Frequency-Division Multiplexing Sensing System Based on Multilongitudinal Mode Fiber Lasers and Beat Frequency Demodulation

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2015
A five-channel frequency-division multiplexing (FDM) fiber laser sensor array based on multilongitudinal mode fiber lasers (MLMFLs) and beat frequency demodulation was proposed. Detailed theoretical analysis of the FDM principle was also described.

Modelling investigation on fiber-on-fiber contacts for synthetic fibers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Fiber is the main load bearer for engineering structures such as composites and rope. With characteristics such as superior mechanical strength, lightweight and flexible, synthetic fibers have replaced metals in many engineering applications. Due to its cylindrical body, contact between adjacent fibers can be subjected to various contact conditions ...

Isolasi dan Penapisan in Vitro Aktinomiset untuk Mengendalikan Xanthomonas

open access: yesJurnal Fitopatologi Indonesia, 2014
Nursery disease frequently found on Acacia crassicarpa seedlings is bacterial leaf blight caused by Xanthomonas sp. Disease symptom starts as a small fleck on the leaf which may then develop to leaf strike or leaf blight if the environmental factors are

Temperature Insensitive Vector Bending Sensor Based on Asymmetrical Cascading SMF-PCF-SMF Structure

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
A temperature insensitive vector curvature sensor of photonic crystal fiber (PCF) is presented based on core-offset splicing and waist-enlarged fiber taper. Obvious red and blue shifts in transmission spectrum appear at two symmetrical bending directions
