Structure‐Guided Dynamical Mechanics in Bioinspired Double Twisted Laminated Thin Films
This work explores a dynamic mechanistic study of crack propagation and puncture testing via real‐time monitoring of crack initiation, propagation, and termination through nature‐inspired single and double twisted architectures fabricated from cellulose nanocrystals.

Shaping Matter with Acoustic Waves: From Particles to Functional Structures
Acoustic‐directed assembly is reviewed as a materials‐oriented strategy for organizing particles, polymers, metals, and biological systems into functional structures. The review distinguishes reversible manipulation from permanent structure formation through medium fixation, particle fixation, and in situ material generation, highlighting routes toward

Coherent Perfect Absorption in a Weakly Absorbing Fiber
Coherent perfect absorption refers to the interferometric enhancement of absorption in a partially lossy medium upto 100%. This can be achieved without modifying the absorbing medium itself, instead of engineering its photonic environment.

230 mW of blue light from a thulium-doped upconversion fiber laser [PDF]
We demonstrate a powerful diode-pumped blue laser source, consisting of a 7W diode at 807nm that pumps a Nd:YAG laser giving 1.6W with good beam quality at 1123nm, and a thulium-doped upconversion fiber laser.

Wood Cellulosic Membrane With Abundant Nanochannels for Stabilizing Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries
A wood‐derived cellulosic membrane separator is developed to suppress dendrite growth in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. Its aligned nanochannels and hydroxyl‐rich surfaces enable uniform Zn2+ flux, water immobilization, and interfacial stabilization. Zn||Zn cells achieve 1920 h of cycling, Zn||Cu cells maintain 99.5% Coulombic efficiency over 1000 cycles,

All‐solution‐processed, low‐cost extended short‐wavelength infrared photodetectors are realized by coupling colloidal HgTe quantum dots to plasmonic In2O3:Sn,F nanocrystals. Localized surface plasmon resonances boost and spectrally tailor light absorption between 1500 and 3000 nm, enabling responsivities above 40 A W−1.
