Hybrid Scaffolds Decouple Biochemical & Biophysical Regulation of Cell Phenotype
Replicating tissue‐specific extracellular matrix is crucial for understanding its role in disease. This work demonstrates independent control over stiffness, composition and 3D collagen architecture using hybrid scaffolds: patterned collagen perfused with defined hydrogels.

HUCMSC‐Apo‐mvs enhance peripheral nerve repair by modulating the inflammatory microenvironment (IME), primarily through coordinated actions on three functional cells. They recruit macrophages and promote their polarization from pro‐inflammatory M1 to anti‐inflammatory M2 phenotypes, increasing secretion of IL‐10 and VEGF.

Applied Optics, 1979
In this paper a fiber laser plate, consisting of many fiber lasers in a form similar to an ordinary optical fiber plate, is described. The fiber laser plate, when end-pumped, can emit a laser light image corresponding to a 2-D transparency. The abrupt change of output intensity with excitation energy shows that the plate is attractive as an optical ...

All-fiber mode-locked fiber laser
Optics Letters, 2007An environmentally stable mode-locked fiber laser based on nonlinear polarization rotation is experimentally demonstrated. The laser is based on a novel laser configuration that has negligible low-power steady-state reflectivity from one side and, consequently, no CW gain.
