Effects of 980 nm diode laser irradiation on bond strength of fiber posts to root canal dentin [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dental Materials and Techniques
Objective: The present in vitro study aimed to evaluate the effect of a 980 nm diode laser irradiation on the bond strength of fiber posts to intracanal dentine. Methods: Twenty-four extracted human maxillary central incisors were obtained.

Clinical procedure for luting glass-fiber posts.

open access: yesThe journal of adhesive dentistry, 2001
This report presents clinical cases in which a self-activating dual-cure adhesive system was used in combination with proprietary self-curing resin cement for bonding a translucent glass-fiber post. The clinical luting procedure of a self-activating bonding/self-curing resin cement system in combination with a glass-fiber post based on fiber-reinforced

Strain‐Programmable Luminescent Adhesive Patch With Tartrazine‐Mediated Optical Skin Clearing for Photochemical Tissue Bonding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

A Study on Post Length for Fiber Post and Composite Resin Core Restorations

open access: yesNihon Hotetsu Shika Gakkai Zasshi, 2006
This in vitro study investigated the use of short posts for fiber post and composite resin core restorations.A replica of a human maxillary central incisor was prepared from bovine teeth using the CELAY system (MIKRONA, Switzerland). Specimens consisted of three different post lengths (2, 5, 8 mm) and three types of remaining coronal tooth structure (0,

Dispensing Volumetric Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 44, 1 June 2026.
Dispensing volumetric additive manufacturing (DVAM) prints 3D structures inside a photocurable resin droplet suspended from the tip of a glass pipette, enabling sequential printing without resin vats or manual part removal. Real‐time droplet profiling and ray‐tracing‐based correction compensate for optical distortion at the curved resin‐air interface ...

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

Multimodal Soft Surgical Robots Enabled by Eco‐Degradable, Sterilizable Polymers and Transient Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A compostable PGS soft surgical robot with interchangeable modules integrates transient Mo tactile and Si thermal sensors for dual feedback. The device preserves its function after clinical‐grade sterilization, demonstrates stable actuation and cardiac tissue grasping with real‐time in vivo pulsatile monitoring, and biodegrades post‐use with soil‐safe,

Investigation of the Effect of Indirect Ultrasonic Force and Different Cements on the Bond Strength of Glass Fiber Posts in Teeth with Different Post Space Preparation Methods

open access: yesApplied Sciences
(1) Background: The main aim of this study was to investigate the effects of different cements (Panavia V5, RelyX U200) and placement techniques (indirect ultrasonic vibration and manual method) on the bond strength of glass fiber posts in teeth with ...
