Immunomodulatory, Antibacterial, Antioxidative and EGF‐Delivering Hydrogel Remodels Wound Microenvironment for Infected Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesNational Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, we engineered an antibacterial, antioxidative and epidermal grow factor‐encapsulated multifunctional hydrogel for the repair of chronic and refractory wounds. The hydrogel markedly promoted wound healing in rat models of diabetic foot ulcers and infected wounds by modulating wound microenvironment.

Top‐Down CSF Peptidomics Reveals Disease‐Associated Peptide Signatures and Oxidative Modifications in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) are inflammatory demyelinating diseases of the CNS whose diagnosis is mainly based on clinical evidence, magnetic resonance imaging, and the analysis of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Current approaches provide only partial insight into disease‐related biological processes, thus

Fibrin as a matrix to transplant isolated preantral follicles

open access: yes, 2015
Survival rates of many malignant diseases are steadily improving, but for patients of childbearing age, fertility restoration often becomes a vital concern after disease remission. In women, treatments such as chemo/radiotherapy can be very harmful to the ovaries, causing loss of both endocrine and reproductive functions.

Fibrin(ogen) - a new carrier for non viral gene vectors

open access: yes, 2008

Current Trends and Future Prospects of Integrating Electrospinning With 3D Printing Techniques for Mimicking Bone Extracellular Matrix Scaffolds

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 63, Issue 6, Page 1481-1504, 15 March 2025.
ABSTRACT This article presents a review of the recent findings on the combination of electrospun nanofibers and three‐dimensional (3D)‐printed structures for extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffolds for bone tissue engineering. We explore the synergy between electrospinning (ES), which produces highly porous, fibrous structures from materials like collagen
