Nascent Extracellular Matrix Converts Biomaterial Cues into Cell Fate Decisions

This study uncovers a tri‐directional interplay among cells, hydrogels, and their nascent extracellular matrix. Hydrogel norbornene modification alters CD44‐mediated cell–hydrogel interactions, which shape nascent matrix deposition, composition, and spatial organization.

Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor as a Fifth Component of Lipid Nanoparticles Enables Lymph Node‐Targeting and Augments mRNA Vaccine Efficacy

Here, a PDL1 inhibitor is employed as a fifth component to modify lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). PDL1 inhibitor‐loaded LNPs show enhanced lymph node targeting, resulting in greater lymph node expansion, immune cell infiltration, and improved mRNA vaccine efficacy. This fifth component LNP could be a novel platform for mRNA vaccines.

Identification and characterization of zebrafish fibronectins

The goal of this study was to identify the fibronectin (FN) isoforms present in the zebrafish and determine their structure and pattern of expression. Sequence analysis of zebrafish FN cDNAs indicates that at least two forms of the protein exist in fish.

Real‐Time Monitoring of Mass and Mechanical Properties in Single Cells and Multicellular Spheroids

This study introduces photothermally actuated microcantilevers combined with optical microscopy to simultaneously measure morphology, mass, and mechanical properties of cellular systems in real‐time. The findings link cytoplasm‐dominated mechanical energy dissipation to the Q‐factor as a novel biophysical parameter.

Curvature‐Directed Elongation and Chiral Tilting Drive Asymmetric Tissue Patterning

Curvature and cell handedness together break tissue symmetry. On convex and concave surfaces, cells elongate along opposite geometric axes and tilt in a consistent chirality‐driven direction, yielding opposite alignment patterns from the same cells. Reversing intrinsic cell chirality reverses both.

Engineered Peptide Self‐Assembled Nanofibers for Enhanced STING Activation: A Promising Nanodelivery Platform for Immunotherapy of Pediatric Solid Tumors

An engineered peptide self‐assembled nanofiber platform, designed to replicate STING–cGAMP binding motifs, facilitates pH‐responsive cytosolic delivery of cGAMP, enhances the endoplasmic reticulum with high efficiency, and robustly activates the STING pathway.
