H-Ficolin

open access: yes, 2013
H-ficolin is a serum lectin synthesized (as a ~34 kDa polypeptide) predominantly by the liver and lung tissues and is one of the soluble pattern recognition receptors of the innate immune system. It is structurally similar to L- and M- ficolins, but is different in its tissue expression and binding affinities to pathogenic ligands.

L-Ficolin

open access: yes, 2013
L-ficolin is a serum lectin synthesized (as a ~37 kDa polypeptide) predominantly by the liver, and is one of the key molecules of the innate immune system. It has an amino (N)-terminal cysteine-rich region, a middle stretch of a collagen-like sequence, and a fibrinogen-like domain in the carboxy (C)-terminus.

Progressive IgA Nephropathy Is Associated With Low Circulating Mannan-Binding Lectin-Associated Serine Protease-3 (MASP-3) and Increased Glomerular Factor H-Related Protein-5 (FHR5) Deposition

open access: yes, 2017
Introduction IgA nephropathy (IgAN) is characterized by glomerular deposition of galactose-deficient IgA1 and complement proteins and leads to renal impairment.

Complement activation lectin pathway (mannose-binding lectin and ficolin) genes polymorphism as the risk factor of CagA positive chronic Helicobacter pylori infection in adolescents

open access: yesИнфекция и иммунитет, 2020
Currently, features of the host immune response against Helicobacter pylori (Hp) both regarding establishment of chronic carriage after primary infection as well as a role of impaired immune and inflammatory response in the mechanisms of developing ...
