Sartre-Simon : de la « littérature engagée » aux « fictions critiques » [PDF]

open access: yesCahiers Claude Simon, 2007

A Topology Optimization Framework for the Inverse Design of Nonlinear Mechanical Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work uses topology optimization to design unit cells for mechanical metamaterials with a prescribed nonlinear stress–strain response. The framework adds contact and postbuckling modeling to synthesize microstructures for three highly nonlinear responses, including pseudoductile behavior, monostable with snap‐through buckling, and bistable ...

O “tempo Negro” em Achille Mbembe e a crítica ao tempo linear

open access: yesRevista Crítica de Ciências Sociais
This article explores the critique of Western hegemonic time, focusing on Achille Mbembe’s reflection on “Black time” in Critique of Black Reason. The conception of time, historically tied to the colonial project and Western thought, has been a pillar of

Bias‐Free Highly Efficient and Stable Dye‐Sensitized Photoelectrochemical Cells via Cascade Charge Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A buried‐junction DSPEC design is introduced that leverages cascade charge transfer to enhance efficiency, stability, and versatility. This approach facilitates effective charge transfer and minimizes recombination losses, leading to significant improvements.

Borderland literature, female pleasure, and the slash fic phenomenon

open access: yesTransformative Works and Cultures, 2019
In the discussion of media and borderlands theory, current scholarship primarily attends to investigating borderlands as metaphors for broader minority critique, where niche, representative publications resist hegemonic mass-market productions.

Ethnicity and Social Critique in Tony Hilleman’s Crime Fiction [PDF]

open access: yesPrague Journal of English Studies, 2016
Abstract American mystery writer Tony Hillerman (1925-2008) achieved wide readership both within the United States and abroad, and, significantly, within the US both among white Americans and Native Americans. This article discusses Hillerman’s detective fiction firstly within the tradition of the genre and then focuses on particular ...

Ideal Molecular Sieving with a Dense MOF for Helium Upgrading with Highly Diffusion Selective Mixed Matrix Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The separation of Helium gas from natural gas is challenging but highly important. MIL‐116(Ga), a “non‐porous” metal–organic framework is used as a molecular sieve to separate He from CH4. Druse‐like MIL‐116(Ga) particles are integrated into polysulfone mixed matrix membranes.

Intermolecular Interactions as Driving Force of Increasing Multiphoton Absorption in a Perylene Diimide‐Based Coordination Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.
