From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

Analytical model of amplitude-weighted array technology in forming symmetrical radiation patterns

open access: yes, 2013
A method on amplitude-weighted array technology is proposed based on an analytical formula in which the radiation amplitudes of array elements are evaluated analytically by a random symmetrical far-field radiation pattern. Using this formula, any desired

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Large-amplitude capillary waves in electrified fluid sheets

open access: yes, 2004
Large-amplitude capillary waves on fluid sheets are computed in the presence of a uniform electric field acting in a direction parallel to the undisturbed configuration. The fluid is taken to be inviscid, incompressible and non-conducting.

Printed Integrated Logic Circuits Based on Chitosan‐Gated Organic Transistors for Future Edible Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Trimpi Perturbations from Large Ionisation Enhancement Patches

open access: yes, 2000
A number of increasingly sophisticated and realistic models have been developed in order to investigate the interaction between sub-ionospherically propagating VLF waves and regions of enhanced electron density in the D-region caused by lightning induced
