A counterexample to the Nelson-Seiberg theorem
We present a counterexample to the Nelson-Seiberg theorem and its extensions. The model has 4 chiral fields, including one R-charge 2 field and no R-charge 0 filed.

Multivariable dimension polynomials and new invariants of differential field extensions
We introduce a special type of reduction in the ring of differential polynomials and develop the appropriate technique of characteristic sets that allows to generalize the classical Kolchin's theorem on differential dimension polynomial and find new ...

A CLASSIFICATION OF EXTENSIONS GENERATED BY A ROOT OF AN EISENSTEIN-DUMAS POLYNOMIAL [PDF]
It is known that for a discrete valuation v of a field K with value group Z, an valued extension field (K′, v′) of (K, v) is generated by a root of an Eisenstein polynomial with respect to v having coefficients in K if and only if the extension (K′, v′)/(

Topological entropy for locally linearly compact vector spaces and field extensions
Let 𝕂 be a discrete field and (V, ϕ) a pair consisting of a locally linearly compact 𝕂-space V and a continuous endomorphism ϕ: V → V. We provide the formulae to compute the topological entropy ent* of the flow (V, ϕ) subject to either extension or ...

PROJECTIVE EXTENSIONS OF FIELDS
A field K admits proper projective extensions, i.e. Galois extensions where the Galois group is a nontrivial projective group, unless K is separably closed or K is a pythagorean formally real field without cyclic extensions of odd degree. As a consequence, it turns out that almost all absolute Galois groups decompose as proper semidirect products.

The product of a quartic and a sextic number cannot be octic
In this article, we prove that the product of two algebraic numbers of degrees 4 and 6 over Q{\mathbb{Q}} cannot be of degree 8. This completes the classification of so-called product-feasible triplets (a,b,c)∈N3\left(a,b,c)\in {{\mathbb{N}}}^{3} with a ...

Infinite Towers of Galois Defect Extensions of Kaplansky Fields
We give conditions for Kaplansky fields to admit infinite towers of Galois defect extensions of prime degree. As proofs of the presented facts are constructive, this provides examples of constructions of infinite towers of Galois defect extensions of ...

ABSTRACT Background Fertility preservation (FP) is increasingly integrated into the care of pediatric patients exposed to gonadotoxic therapy or conditioning for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), yet perioperative data in infants and toddlers remain scarce.

Dimension-8 SMEFT analysis of minimal scalar field extensions of the Standard Model
We analyze the constraints obtainable from present data using the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) on extensions of the Standard Model with additional electroweak singlet or triplet scalar fields.

I will see it done: Metonymic extensions of the verb see in English
English verbs of perception appear to be significant generators of divergent polysemous senses. The aim of this paper is to propose a dictionary study of the verb see.
