Field high-throughput phenotyping: the new crop breeding frontier
Trends in Plant Science, 2014Constraints in field phenotyping capability limit our ability to dissect the genetics of quantitative traits, particularly those related to yield and stress tolerance (e.g., yield potential as well as increased drought, heat tolerance, and nutrient efficiency, etc.). The development of effective field-based high-throughput phenotyping platforms (HTPPs)

Cable Suspended Large-Scale Field Phenotyping Facility for High-Throughput Phenotyping Research
2021Field-based high-throughput phenotyping (HTP) research has evolved rapidly in recent years. Various HTP platforms are developed with the aim of improving the phenotyping efficiency for plant breeding. To the best of our knowledge, field HTP systems, which have been widely integrated into breeding research, have not been reported yet.

Phenoliner: a multi-sensor field phenotyping platform
Acta Horticulturae, 2019Because of the perennial nature and size of grapevine, the acquisition of phenotypic data is mostly restricted to the vineyard. The Phenoliner, presented here, is a new type of ground-based, robust, field phenotyping platform. Following the concept of a movable tunnel, the vehicle is based on a grape harvester.
