Transfer of training: A field investigation of youth training

This study investigated, in the field, differences in the transfer and retention of training in using micrometers, of two groups of young trainees. The experimental group were motor‐vehicle servicing trainees and the control group were information technology trainees.

Adversarial training is often modeled as a two-player zero-sum game, relying on strong assumptions that limit its practical guidance. In this paper, we instead analyze the interactions between training samples and show that even the fundamental objective—minimizing training loss—may not converge.
