Description of new species of genus Acanthaegilips Ashmead, 1897 (Hymenoptera: Figitidae: Anacharitinae) from Brazil.

A new Acanthaegilips species is described from Brazil, Acanthaegilips atlanticus sp. n. The morphological similarities and differences with Acanthaegilips truncatus are also presented.

Divergence estimates and early evolutionary history of Figitidae (Hymenoptera: Cynipoidea)
